Europeans are leaning over the railing laughing at our “feral individualism.” Meanwhile we’re yelling back about their crumbling welfare states and endless queues. Everyone’s got their favorite insult, everyone’s sure their section of the boat is still dry. Except the water’s rising everywhere, same speed. It stopped being funny a while ago.

Putin's price hike, that it Vladof Putlers unprovoked attack on Ukraine has destroyed Western economies with his war on our freedoms and democracy.
This is what Western officials and in particular President Joe Biden are pointing to as the reason behind the unprecedented inflation, rise in energy and food costs, the disruptions in supply chains and the possibility of famine in Africa among other developments in the past year.
But while I would hope that people would be able to see through these lies, and other lies I am doubtful that most people can. In that, to even a casual observer what has happened started in 2007 and has been 15 years in the making. If not more. But really went into overdrive over the past two when Western nations shut down their economies and printed oodles of fiat currency that anyone would be able to forcast the outcome of. Inflation, the devaluation of peoples savings plus the attendant dislocation of supply chains.
