Looking around at the current state of our society, I think it is clear that we are on the same trajectory as many other civilizations that have proceeded us.
The key problem is that we have failed to learn the lessons of the past and without course correction we are doomed to repeat the same mistakes again.
This video outlines the stages of empire and how they pertain to the lifecycle of greatness in any given civilization.
There are however, silver-linings and they tell a story that might be able to bring us back from the collective edge.
