Launched in 2015 by Ben Shapiro and Jeremy Boreing, it dominated conservative media—podcasts, DailyWire+, Bentkey for kids, had nearly nearly a million subscribers. But by April 4th, 2025, it’s a dumpster fire—supposedly bankruptcy lawyers are on call, credit payments are shut off, and insiders blame one colossal screw-up. They sank $100 million into Bentkey to rival Disney, but it’s been a bust.
Very importantly, Big names like Candace Owens and Brett Cooper bailed, a Steven Crowder feud spilled dirt on the goings on behind the scenes, and Boreing’s CEO exit reeks of distress. More importantly, is the fact, it was outrage that was their gold—culture war bait hooked their views—but social media platforms slashed their reach, as they do, and the subscription pivot lost the casual audience.
Put simply, They took a big swing that didn’t connect.
