Canada's Dirty Secret
I will let you in on a bit of a Canadian secret.
Canada is a country that for as long as I have known is a country that has based its identity on NOT BEING AMERICAN. A nation that masks its inferiority complex in self aggrandizing airs of superiority.
Canada is to the US as South Korea is to Japan, Wales is to England or Austria is to Germany, of course without the historical baggage.
It is a country that is overlooked, forgotten, unknown and mostly people are uninterested in it because of its proximity to the colossus that is the United States.
And that has built in many, many, many bad cultural, mental and national habits in those Canadians that have roots in the country.
