Canada is a country in steep decline. GDP is not keeping pace, the social ties are evaporating and now, that everyone have become so poor, Canadian women are now being asked to use their beaver to put a roof over their heads. This cannot end well.
Picture the whole West like one big leaking cruise ship. Australians are up on the top deck mocking the Americans down in steerage for drowning in medical debt. Europeans are leaning over the railing laughing at our “feral individualism.” Meanwhile we’re yelling back about their crumbling welfare states and endless queues. Everyone’s got their favorite insult, everyone’s sure their section of the boat is still dry. Except the water’s rising everywhere, same speed. It stopped being funny a while ago.
